Really, how so? Her philosophical views are sound, though they're likely misconstrued due to her eccentricity.

Having seen her arguments, they are often quite unsound, actually. Conclusions which do not necessarily follow from the premises, incoherent logical steps, absurd and illogical conclusions and so on. Not that I have gone through her ideas thoroughly, but that's what I've noticed, and something many philosophers seem to agree on.

I've heard that before; she apparently has a tendency to make non sequitur arguments that don't correlate with the previous statement. Whilst, this is likely a tenuous argument I personally think she's displaying a degree of hubris, thinking of herself as being the epitome of clarity that she doesn't need to elaborate any further. However, I do agree with Christopher Hitchens when he once wrote an article about how there was a cult devoted to her. I rarely see the need to venerate people so strongly.

Interesting, I didn't know that. However, her revered status has little to do with the merit of her works. Demagogues, which she wasn't, have a large following yet what they espouse tends to be nonsense.

LOL nope. Ayn Rand's economic philosophy is out of touch with reality. Objectivism doesn't work at the organizational level despite how hard Eddie Lampert tries to make it work. It's a good thing that Ayn Rand never ran nor ever tried to run a business. Sears lost half its value in just 5 years, it's like running head first into a concrete wall.
