They were part of the First Mexican Empire (except Panama) but they broke away in 1823. At first they formed the Federal Republic of Central America but that didn't last long.

I think India and Pakistan should merge along with Bangladesh, Bhutan Nepal, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. With Pakistan though I think we should give the Pashtun areas to Afghanistan maybe have the Indus river as a border.

It'd be unfair for countries like Panama and CR to become one country with IDK, Nicaragua?

And Panama and CR are too different to become one nation anyway..

CR is like homogeneous, very peaceful and with little corruption

Panama is multiracial, not so peaceful, with corruption but also with a better economic situation than CR's.

No, Mexico would built even more problems because Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua have gang problems like MS-13

I don't see much future for these people. I imagine them becoming an identical copy of Haiti in another 20 years.

Only countries I would exclude are Guatemala, Cuba, and possibly Costa Rica.
