Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

Problem is Pakistan is not outside of the Indian Subcontinent, despite what lots of people seem to think. :picard2:

Some more examples for lighter Indians. I don't want to express that only Brahmins can have a light complexion.

51671
Srila Narayana Maharaja, born into a trivedi brahmin family from Bihar

51672
Victor Banerjee, Indian actor, born into a Bengali brahmin family

51673
Soumitra Chatterjee, Indian actor, born into a Bengali brahmin family

51674
Rabindranath Tagore, Indian poet and Nobel Literature Prize winner, born into a Bengali brahmin family, Pirali Brahmin

51675
Jawaharlal Nehru, first prime minister of India, born into a Kashmiri Pandit family

51676
Jiddu Krishnamurti, Indian philosopher, born into a Telugu Brahmin family
With his beige-colored complexion and the profile of a thinker (in sense of physiognomy), he reminds me very much of classical Greek statues.

The first one looks almost British! But I can see the Indian traits in the other examples.

Depends on the features, most likely Afghanistan, Iran as well as parts of the Arabian peninsula.

Yes, he has a unique look. It would be interesting to know how his relatives look like.

He doesn't look British, sure he has light eyes but, the features are South Asian.

His skin is also not that light either, light for South Asians but, not the lightest either.

They can pass in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and Turkey
I also voted for the Caucasus and Levant countries, but i'm only half sure there, so might be wrong.

Oh and seriously? Light skin Indians passing as Greek is very absurd, let alone France or Slovenia.

They shouldn't pass in Turkey, Caucasus or Levant either (under most circumstances) but, passable countries are mostly Greater Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and the Arabian peninsula, some also say that some South Asians can look North African as well.

Interestingly, there are theories of Kashmiris and Dards descending from one of the lost tribes of Israel.

But is there a relationship between the people of Rig Vedic period and the ancient Greeks? It is known that there was a connection between the cultures of the ancient Greeks and the Rig Vedic poets, especially when you focus on linguistic similarities like Greek dzeus and Sanskrit dyaus, Greek ambrosia and Sanskrit amṛta, Greek angelos and Sanskrit angiras or Greek bárbaroi and Sanskrit barbara. There are many mythological similarities: The Rig Veda describes how the god Indra, riding on an eagle, stole the drink of immortality from heaven. And at last, there is archaeological evidence: Burnt layers from 2200 BC were found in Northern Greece. They are attributed to the Indo-Europeans.

All Indo-European languages have similar vocabulary and grammar, it's a matter of geographical distribution. There may be a lot of parallels between Greek and Sanskrit but, I can show you even more parallel between Sanskrit and Avestan for e.g. and the Dieties and demons existing in those cultures/languages. J2 is one of the lesser halpogroups found in High caste Indians and in your map it is only concentrated in the Punjab where much of the High caste is Khsatriya (warrior caste) and not Brahmin (Priest and most highest caste) and R1a is the most common haplogroups amongst Brahmins, does that mean they have a connection to Slavic people in Europe?
I highly doubt it, besides the wider IE connection.
