I am Mexican with kinda high North African.

McDonald result I have a high North African score.....of (28%) North African. And I am a mix of European, Berber and Amerindian. + with a touch of black (SSA). It seems.

What are your thoughts and ideas on where it comes from?

Possibly from Moorish ancestry from Spain? To be honest I am really not sure though. Interesting none the less.

I think and say that a good amount must come from some Canarian ancestors, a part of my family say and use words that are Spanish Canarian origin like Chacho...typical Canarian words.

Many Moriscos went to the Americas after they were expelled.

Truth! Instead of live in an environment that was intolerant to them making a new life in the New World seemed like a much better idea at the time.

Moriscos would be the right guess here, it is also very high (28%)

Chacho in Michoacan stands for muchacho while chacho in the Canary Islands stands for something else, I think they use it as an expression
