oh good old RT, lets bash Europe and lets pretend to forget that the ruble falls every day..

Yes there is corruption in the EU, there is also tax evasion, rape, murder, theft etc. The extend of the corruption problem in the EU can not be compared to Russia's corruption where many even small state/local government workers are millionaires.

Corruption will always exist, and as long as its relatively small (€150b is not much, contrary to what this video tries to present) I don't see a problem. Sometimes corruption gets things done much quicker, things which can benefit the economy.

Personally I had to give a bribe once to an official figure, he accepted "the gift", however when I see him outside he kinda tries to avoid me ;) which is funny. I do see him once a month or so.

European corruption is often underestimated though, because unlike in Russia it's not 'in your face' here. Still far less corrupt than Russia.

Could be the same money-wise though.

Extra layer of bureacracy and laws alone leads to tons of waste, even if you discount genuine corruption.

That's just awkward. Romania was, is and will probably be on the top 3 of the most corrupt members according to popular neocons from EU (unfreakinbelivable). Typical EU hypocrisy, in doesn't matter that ironically as a consequence 1 in 5 romanians have an open case in Court, what it really matter is to blame someone, usually the weakest one. In my country the most corrupt ones are the "fearless defenders" of the Rule of Law.
