Basques in 23andme

Why the samples are only of French basques and in small ammount?

My guess is that a scientific sample (from Human Genome Diversity Project) was available only for French basques at the time 23andMe made their toys.

The two groups are very similar (French possibly a bit more distinctive) if Eurogenes is to be believed (http://eurogenes.blogspot.fi/2013/08/principal-component-analysis-pca-of.html), so it's likely that 23andMe will never see a need to add Spanish basques.
