Why thumb me down for my answer?
you asked a question, I gave one word answer

Roma mostly means Indid-Gypsis
Travellers means pale-Irish-Gypsies

You confuse others.

That's what I was looking for, a more elaborate answer. However, there is no reason why the two groups could not intermarry.

Irish Travellers can easily absorb Indid-Roma genes and can still look Euro if Indid-genes are not more than 25%.

3/4 White 1/4 South Asian don't show visible SA in almost all cases.

Most Romanichal are 90% European. One person is only 1.3% South Asian on 23andMe yet they are 100% English Romani.

One-drop rule is ridiculous.
No European is 100% European genetically.

No European is 100% European genetically.

Its not "one drop rule". Its 100% as someone can be 100% Romanichal, but have little South Asian admixture. As the Roma spread north to the UK their genes became more diluted so many who have lived there for a long time have British admixture.

No because there is no such ethnic group as the "Black Irish". There are also no Roma genes in the Traveller community as they are a subset of Irish but a bit divergent because they are an isolated community who mostly marry among themselves.

From your posts you seem to want the Irish to have some exotic origin but by genetics they are just North Western European which makes sense as they are an isolated island in the North Western corner of Europe. Logically how would they have some exotic genetics that their neighbours wouldn't have?

Here an article about some genetic study done on Travellers.

What they found confirms that Travellers have a shared heritage with settled people but that they separated at some point between 1,000 and 2,000 years ago.
