Oh :lol: So many people said so that I lost track of who said what. How SSA are Melungeons?

I have another photo I wanted your opinion on that I just found.

By the time pictures of Melungeons were first taken? 3/8ths to 1/8th

Ok, so the same range as Cape Verdeans from Brava and Fogo.

At one point Melungeons were rumored to be Portuguese or Cape Verdean as well, but they're not.

They are; they descend from Atlantic Creoles, some of whom most likely had not only Lusophone names but also Portuguese blood.
