Optional; Electric fan, toaster, gamingconsole, watercooker and for some wards a laptop with limited internetacces.

Pets are in some cases permitted aswell...

They get paid for working on the inside, have internet and tv, sometimes they even take them out on bowling and other social activities(its true, i have heard and seen it). Most criminals from outside Northern Europe have it more comfortable in Norwegian or Swedish prison than they ever had back in their homeland. Which in quite some cases make some want to stay. And the word about the liberal honeylands with low prison sentences is a word spread like wind within criminal circles around the world. Its a dangerous combination going extreme-liberal on laws/prisons while having a liberal immigration policy for people from troubled areas.

Same here, we have an inmate commity (gedetineerdencommissie), prisoners can work for a small wage (on the inside as well as on the outside), on weekends people can order food from the outside (pizza, kebab or shoarma), healthbenefits (everything is free) and sex with your woman or a prostitute in a special room for people how are doing massive terms of imprisonment (1 year and up).
