About 1/4th of Chinese guys who I personally know are Christians..
I even went to Chinese church about 5 times when my close Chinese friend asked me..

maybe, buddhism is also cool, all religions are cool and full of wisedom, but i like christianity the best, i dont like reincarnation teachings and nirvana etc. i like the teaching that people are awarded by going to heaven

I personally favour Confucianism. Although not technically a religion, there is a movement in China to make it a religion.

Yeah the Chinese seem to love Christianity as do the Koreans though it hasn't done as well in Japan. I heard a BBC radio report about the spread of Christianity in China it was pretty interesting. Some say it might become a majority Christian country one day. That would be interesting...
The house church movement is illegal in China, that is why there are no official statistics on them. The only recognized Christian religions in China are Catholicism and Protestantism. But these are heavily regulated by the government.
China is making a big mistake by persecuting Christians. Remember what happened in the Roman Empire ... persecution only makes Christianity stronger.
