They just look so, because they in a very specific manner resemble other Germans to put it simply. I am just completely unused to seeing similar types in my country, just different proportions. I would immediately/instinctively think that they're German actually.

Yes. Like I've constantly said, there are more Italians who look German than the reverse, which means that many if not most Germans would stand out less in Italy than the reverse, as wholesale Italian-Med types like Hansi Muller are very much outliers for Germany.

Yes I agree. Conversely, even blondish Spaniards and Italians tend to be somewhat more gracile in their features than their Northern Euro equivalents, such as footballers Ciro Immobile and Ignacio Camacho.

All of them still look fairly German or Austrian to me. Wouldn't be surprised if they were Swiss, Hungarian, Polish or Danes. Exceptions being Mats Hummels who looks Spanish to me, Roman Neudstadter who looks like he has some Italian or French blood.

I dunno about Turkish. I mean, I dont think he has any non-German parents. He looks like a Spaniard to me, he is no darker than Fabregas, Busquets, Silva, or Cazorla from the Spanish National team. He isn't dark enough for a Turk, and his facial features are clearly European.

I am fully disagree, in all. Fábregas or Cazorla are not darker than Hummels (Silva is half Japanese and Busquets is Gypsy) and for me Hummels does have weird facial features, it is not only about dark skin.
