Are the Bulgarians related to Chuvash people?

The modern Slavic speaking Danube Bulgarians are not related to the Chuvash in any way or form.

No, but the Chuvashs and the original Danube Bulgarians presumably had a common ancestor: the Huns.

The Bulgars who founded the First Bulgarian Empire in the Balkans were a mixed people consisting predominantly of Slavs and Slavicised Iranics with a small elite of uncertain origin, probably some kind of Uralics.

I dont want to discuss but you know Bulgarians are the only ones believing in this Iranic myth eventhough Turkic runes were found in Bulgaria and even the word Bulgar is Turkic (and no Ottomans didnt write with Turkic runes)

Alphabets are just a technology, technology can be adopted by other people than its originators. Furthermore, nowhere in my post you quoted I say that the Bulgars were Iranics, read it again putting more effort, better yet read the biggest authority on the Danube Bulgars - the late prof. Rasho Rashev.

Uralics with turkic titles, names, alphabets, steppe culture? Ethnic Bulgarian population is Slavic nowadays.

Example of Danube Bulgarian leaders with Turkic titles?

Edit: or better just don't bother.

Volga Bulgars speak a Turkic language, not an Iranic or Uralic language.

Before the dumb trolls invade this thread and before I lose my temper.

Claiming the Danube Bulgars were Turks/Turkics is just way too simplistic and cannot be backed by scientific arguments.

The only certain thing about those people is that nothing can be said about them unequivocally. They bore all kinds of names including Iranic (*****uh) and Slavic(Malamir). They used Greek as the official language of their state and most often their monarch was styled as archont. Christianity, Zoroastrianism and various pagan cults were all practiced in areas associated with their settlement. They practiced a dual burial ritual, both cremation and inhumation. Barely a couple of tens of words of their language remain, can't be classified conclusively. Now even if a couple of the ruling families were some Siberian Mongs this does not warrant labeling all of them Turks.

Volga Bulgars are an extinct people just like the Danube Bulgars. The Volga Tatars speak a Kypchak Turkic language, while the old Bulgars alegedly spoke an Oguric Turkic language.

The descendants of the Volga Bulgars are the Chuvash peoples. Their language and their place are correct to this.

Plausible.
