Mostly about Native American ancestry in Latinos, and the level of African ancestry in African-Americans and some whites.

Nothing really new, but they did provide interesting state-by-state breakdowns.

No, the max on there is areas where 12.5% have ONE PERCENT or more.

In most areas it's around 2% who have ONE PERCENT.

If you have more than a few percent, it will show up in your phenotype. Even at 5% you will probably see some sign (but no darkness).

No. Look at the map. It shows most states have less than 10% of White Americans who have even 1% black. That's less than some areas in Europe even.

And it shows most african americas are about 35% european. Which has to be the case if they now have 7% rh - blood type today, since it comes from europe.

I want to see a chart for white Americans with native ancestry. My paternal grandmother is supposed to be like 1/8th or 1/16th Indian. I haven't done any of these tests but I might at some point. It will be interesting to see if I actually have real Native ancestry.

It's basically zero. But then it could be some of the tribes early settlers mixed with are not genetically the same as the ones used for the sampling. Tribes in NE and southern canada don't look anything like typical mongol native americans.

Very interesting, do you know if this was part of a more detailed study? These maps are informative, but I'd really like to see some more info about the methodology and more maps (for example about native admixture in blacks, black admixture in Latinos, etc.). Presumably they have all that data already so it seems odd that it wouldn't be out there somewhere. A table with detailed state by state info for each group would be ideal.

It's just averages based on all their customers.
