Very interesting to see a Christian fellah with an Islamic name. Apparently he was named Omar after the Persian poet and polymath. He was full of WASP descent however, and looks quite American. It seems his name barely had an effect to any obstacles present.

Yeah, he was named after Omar Khayyám, a Persian polymath, and especially Philosopher, and Poet, who lived during the Middle Ages. It's interesting that his parents named him this, he was in fact a WASP from the rural South.
