British women are the leisure queens of the European Union, new analysis revealed today.

Women in the UK are said to spend more than five and a half hours a day on leisure activities.
While British women might question the idea they have all this free time, they will no doubt recognise the OECD finding which also shows women spend twice as long as men on housework.

Women in the UK spend more time on leisure each day anywhere in the European, and are only behind Norway globally, according to a league table published by the OECD

I suspect it's just like in US - there is one group that is worked to death, tries to support family, and pays all the taxes. Then one group of freeloaders and people with no family who do nothing all day.

It's just good to know we have the loyalty and support of all our countrymen. :)

British women spend a lot of leisure time watching tv programmes like Britain's got Talent, X-Factor, Strictly Come Dancing &, Eastenders.

In-fact Brits in general watch tv most of the time.

I could not have said it better.

When I read 'leisure queen', I had a vision of this thing with hair extensions, nail extensions, tacky jewellery and orange-stained skin, in a velour tracksuit, watching a TV screen.

I'm confused why people in Hungary don't sleep? Is that why Stears always looks so crazy? Poor guy. Also, BRB, moving to NOrway.

Why not,if I was some guy making a decent wage,I would have my woman stay at home and not work. But I doubt I will ever get married.I like open relationships and casual sex way too much.

I think if you work hard, you're entitled to as much leisure as you need at home, why not, we're not corporate drones and sleepless robots... what a shit 'analysis'.

I think women should lead leisurely lives...if they want to. There's nothing wrong with that as long as they maintain discipline and physical fitness. A woman who sits in front of the tv or computer and eats all day is disgusting. By leisurely, i still imagine stressful activities, just ones that she chooses to do and is not obligated to do.

Being leisurely is not an excuse to lose regiment and purpose.

Exactly. Chips, Diet Coke and X-Factor; it is all a woman needs.
