View Full Version : On the importance of extending the human lifespan
I think it would be beneficial to humanity if we artificially extended childhood in humans via hormonal and genetic engineering in order to increase capacity for learning. Also, since scientific and philosophical fields become more and more complex, man will require a more powerful brain. The eugenics movement must free man from his present cognitive limitations in order to pursue greater and greater scientific knowledge.

That would consume much more of the world's resources and even though suppose there were benefits of extended life span, there would sure also be side effects attached.
