Basque nobles makes sense. Obviously on that Ghallic shared continuum with north Spain/france/and the British Isles. Pass well in any of those mentioned places.

I'd say the borders would be northern Iberia to the south, northern France to the north and northern Italy to the east. That's my primary thought. My secondary thought would be Britain, especially Ireland.

WRONG. They would fit in southern Spain too. Spain is very uniform from north to south, and light people like them are NOT unusual at all, in southern Spain.

Southern Spaniards are NOT uniformly "plain Mediterranean".
