Noric is not Nordo-Dinarid, its depigmented dinarid, and the guy is definitely not depigmented. You are right about the guy it could be alpine actually, I doubt Stefan has a better picture, unfortunately.

He looks very dinarid and very CM at the same time. I'm sure I'm going to have some "anthropology" "expert" come shout at me for this though.

His hair still looks in the brown range and his skin is quite dark, at least compared to the woman, which is all we've got at this point. Hair of all colors reflect light, that's why people's hair looks different in every picture.

That's him on right with the trophy. I wish now I asked what that trophy was for but as kid I was either not interested or I asked and now forgot.

As to his wife, my grandmother, I can't now remember what was her involvement. They were both dead long before my time (they actually both died in their 40s) so I just have bits and pieces of other people's stories as a kid, most of which is now forgotten.
