Punjabi are considered the lightest in India. They don't need to bleach.

I've noticed as kids they tend to look more like Afghan to north Indian but as they grow up a lot turn out looking like palestinian with some Armenian/greek/Albanian. Some even have lighter hair

Punjabis can only pass as "Afghans" meaning ethnicities such as Pashtun and Farsiwan/Tajik etc because the overlap is significant as they are neighbouring populations and also are both Indo-Iranians.

None of those people you posted in the OP are Punjabi. The lightest ones dont look European at all (at max the odd Cypriot or a Sicilian), they usually are Iranid or Asiatic Alpine types.

How is it possible for South Asians to look like South Europeans or near easterners when they score no Levantine "East Mediterranean" in genetic calculators? They are South Indian-Caucasus mix genetically with some Baltic and East Asian. That's why a Pakistani gets "50% Bangladeshi + 50% Chechen (or Georgian)" on Gedmatch. They are Caucasus shifted not Semitic or Levantine (East med). Same is true in Afghanistan. Iranians on the other hand, are Semitic shifted like other West Asians and that's when you know you are entering the "middle east" from a genetic standpoint.
