I'd say Crete, mainland (minus the far north), and maybe Ionian Islands.

Where in Greece? I'm not sure. Some people are guessing him as Spanish. Can he pass?

He is probably from Crete or the mainland.

The fact that I knew he was Greek is probably due to expertise, but other people said "distinctly Spanish" which shows there is some similarity.

Atlanto-Meds are common in parts of Greece. Pontids and Atlanto-Meds look pretty similar anyways.

Even with the profile shot, many still thought Spanish. Maybe his face shape and nose contributes to that. Spaniards are very long-faced. Their noses generally aren't very big.
