I thought he is a very pure Jew, preserving Judaean phenotype. Resembles that "Russian" mathematician (who has impurities though, such as brown hair and blue eyes). Second guess would have been Mesopotamian Semitic, for he deeply resembles ancient Assyrians. Although his type is Semitic in origins, he does not look like peninsular Arabs, so there must be an additional element...

Interesting... But very atypical for Lebanese: those have least Semitic looks in the Fertile Crescent. He looks deeply Mesopotamian Semitic: looks like a living embodiment of Akkadians.
