Clovis People Are Native Americans, and from Asia, not Europe (http://dna-explained.com/2014/02/13/clovis-people-are-native-americans-and-from-asia-not-europe/)

Pretty interesting study which focused on the genetic results of an identified Clovis boy. There has been a lot of "discussion" (more like lunacy with weak/pathetic "evidence") that the Clovis people were actually originally European (Solutrean) and merged with todays Native Americans and thats why East Coast (USA) Natives are more Caucasoid looking than other Native American groups. This study supports the idea that the Clovis people were actually Native Americans (Mongoloid) and not European. Please read the study before commenting. I will not respond to unintelligent comments. Thanks.

Here some data about the DNA:

Mitochondrial DNA
The mitochondrial haplogroup of the child was D4h3a, a rather rare Native American haplogroup.

Y Chromosomal DNA
The Y chromosome was determined to be haplogroup Q-L54. Haplogroup Q and subgroup Q-L54 originated in Asia and two Q-L54 descendants predominate in the Americas: Q-M3 which has been observed exclusively in Native-Americans and Northeastern Siberians and Q-L54.

Autosomal
They termed their autosomal analysis “genome-wide genetic affinity.” They compared the Anzick individual with 52 Native populations for which known European and African genetic segments have been “masked,” or excluded. This analysis showed that the Anzick individual showed a closer affinity to all 52 Native American populations than to any extant or ancient Eurasian population using several different, and some innovative and new, analysis techniques.

In conclusion it seems that the Clovis boy was Native American using todays definition and not Solutrean.

It's on the extreme west edge of clovis near an abandoned cache of tools. You could just as easily call it an aztec site for how close it is to any major site. I already posted this, anyway.

That's just one of your filthy cannibal ancestors who ate them.

They deemed the boy to be Clovis due to the age of his remains AND his location. The Aztec, Mayan, Inca, Cherokee etc populations came much much much later after the Clovis. Location is important but the timeframe is more important. The boys remains are too old to be anything but Clovis, especially in that region in that time.

BTW the boys remains are 12,600 years old and I don't know how much you know about Native American history but the Aztec civilization wasn't around then so... lol
