It is possible to be proud of one's heritage and acknowledge it, without it entirely blocking our political judgments and outlooks. There is such a thing as "too much of a good thing", and if you look at the ethnic composition of lots of London's schools, you do not have to be a BNP-supporting idiot to realise things have gone too far.

Nor do I even think that mass European immigration is necessarily easy either - there are still differences of culture and language to deal with; even phenotype-wise, the only other Europeans who easily blend in with native White British people (besides the Irish, of course) are the Northern French, Belgians, Dutch and some Germans.

Furthermore, 'hard-working' is a pretty shit criteria too. I'll grant you that many if not most South Asians in Britain are pretty hard-working, but this does not detract from the fact that their values and beliefs are, by and large, deeply sexist and oppressive.
