It's 2010 for 3 hours now, we celebrated it with bunch of beer, a lot of fireworks and a Russian Hymn (it sounds glorious :D) in midnight and kissing, hugging, ass grabbing, anyway, pretty nice atmosphere, drunk but happy, probably the nicest new year celebration ever, best wishes and a lot of happiness to everyone!

I know new year is suppose to be a time of celebration but I'm depressed.
My gf and I broke up. At least I will have a job this year. Life is dull and boring. I hope things get better soon. Maybe its just the Winter blues. It gets dark at 5pm now. Sigh....I need to just get passed out Drunk and than maybe I'll be in a better place or at least out of the meaninglessness of life.

Knocking back the drink for the sake of getting drunk is no good. You've got to make it a pleasurable ritual at least. I do the port and blue cheese on biscuits things rather than swigging vodka, for instance. :D

And think of all the poor bastards in even worse state than yourself!

Seven minutes left for us...in about 5, I'll be going to watch the ball drop from Time Square. Odd but Canadians (well some of us) do this every year and it just wouldn't be the same for some of us who grew up with Dick Clark counting down the seconds with us every year at this time.

I feel better now that I've drank a few pints of Beer.:coffee: Alcohol is the ultimate brain number. Second only to beautiful women and drunken brawling.

It's new year's day, got paid yesterday, have the next week off, cracked open a beer, and tomorrow I'll be treated to a nice meal at a Spanish restaurant downtown. Life is good, for once.
