to me they look a lot more like brazilians than dominicans, i have been to brazil and they all can pass there among their mulatto population so easily

Maybe you're seeing the Portuguese look in them, then.

Brazilians' African ancestry is Angolan and Togolese/Beninese/Nigerian. Little to no Senegambian.

I meant that (the thinner eyed examples) might pass less in the DR. Maybe Brazil would be a better fit.

Well, not sure if this is why but many African Americans have about 60+% North Atlantic/Keltic admixture while Cape Verdeans have more Iberian admixture.
