A collection of every mtDNA I could find at the Swedish haplogroup database, ftdna projects and among my 23andme relatives.

Further North in Sweden is more U haplogroup as expected since this is the haplogroup of Paleolithic Europeans!

C4a1c is another of those oddball subclades. I took a cursory look, and all but one of the samples with C4a and subclades I could find were from Northern and Western Europe (Sweden, Denmark, France) and the one that wasn't was from South India (Kerala).
