But I'll look for averages from some DNA studies. I expressed my opinion from African-American results I've seen from 23andme and a few other sources, but to be sure, a little more research into the topic will probably be needed.

Did you get some DNA results about her dad on the Native American? Other than that, we can't be sure of that. As there are many whites with Native American admixture, there are lots of whites without it. White Americans are not like black Americans which virtually all of them have European admixture.

Nevertheless, I think she is a Euro-dominant mulata. All because of that stupid one drop rule, mulattoes get classified as black. And as for people claiming Native American in the U.S....lol

There are many whites and blacks that do this. I knew a white woman that was telling people she was Native American, but she looked completely Northern European. She was one of those people with 1-2% with a family story of Native American ancestry. But if it's 5-6 generations back to have a Native American ancestor, about time the DNA has reached you, it's like 1-2%.

But of course these are averages. It takes high and low to make an average. She could be from a family with either high or low European input, we don't know. So it's really unpredictable unless we had her DNA results, in which we don't have.
