I'm neutral since I have never been in Calabria or seen Calabrian people at all but he posts group photos which are usually more representative. Groups can be cherry picked too, but judging from the people he posts in the Bulgarian thread I can confirm he doesn't cherry pick.

IDK what it is but the light hair is hard to come by (unless died) in their party photos. But... other than that your Lazio pics look quite similar to Campanians.

They're from Ciociaria, which is in the southern half of Lazio, so that makes sense.

Apulians are the most "Balkan" looking, but they look more like Albanians and Greeks than like Bulgarians.

In an average South Italian photo of 10 people, I'd expect 3 to be "swarthy" (i.e. West Asian looking), 2 to have blue eyes and lighter than average coloring, and the other 5 to look standard South European. If that is not what my photos show, I apologize.

Italian gypos must be very smart to go to prestigious schools. If I post from Bulgarian top schools there are bigger chances of Armenian, Jew or Asian among the students than a gypsy.

No he isn't. Just because they don't quite look like Syrians does NOT mean that the people in the above photos look like Brits. Even the darkest types in Wales, who I see frequently, don't look like that.

I think there are very few foreigners in the Italian Army. I had an Argentinian and a Russian friend who served (and gained Italian citizenship). But it's unusual to find foreigners. Most are from South Italy for unemployment reasons.

Anyhow, internal migrations from south to north are changing a lot the general situation of Italy.

Yes. It could be, originally from Arvanites of Greece, more recently from Falconara or Spezzano in Calabria. But he is born in Rome, I guess his family has left early the Arberesh communities, that especially in Calabria seem to be much intermarried with other Calabrians.
