Christian Allard is a French born Scottish politician, a member of the Scottish National Party and is a Member of the Scottish Parliament for the North East Scotland electoral region.

Christian Allard was born in 1964 in Dijon, France. He has worked in the fishing industry for over 30 years and first came to Scotland over 25 years ago.

His swearing in to the Scottish Parliament was conducted in both English and French.

Oddly I think he does look very Scottish somehow- maybe something around the mouth... I know it's not really possible. Maybe he's imbibed some of Scotland over the years :p

I don't think he sticks out that much in Scotland, there's some darker med-like types there such as Craig Ferguson.

Definitely he does not. He's just on the darker average...
