Xavier Cugat full name was "Francisco de Asís Javier Cugat Mingall de Bru y Deulofeu", and he was from Gerona. As I don't think that Deulofeu is a very common surname, maybe the young Barça football player Gerard Deulofeu Lázaro ( playing for Everton now and who is from Gerona too ) and him are relatives. But it looks that Deulofeu is a catalan surname meaning "God-made-him", given in the past to people without known parents ( wikipedia ), so maybe that surname means nothing ?

who knows, I don't know if Cugat was similar to their parents or like an alien to them, but anyway he could pass better in latinamerica or central-asia than in la dolça catalonia.
