Unlike popular Black men who rarely show Euro ancestry, for some reason clearly 'mixed' Black women are often preferred or get into limelight

Look at these hotties' features, hair, skull shape and even skin-tone

There are definitely more Black male actors, who look like Idris than Black actress who look like Lupita. But if you were to watch Soaps or some Black films, you'd see men who look like these below;

Shemar Moore:

There is nothing to debate. In the context of American Media, light skinned black actors and actresses are incredibly popular. Of course, whenever you say that someone will jump out of the woodwork saying "Look at this X, Y, Z person!" and of course, there is no limit to what someone can look like, anyone can make it big in america. But in general there is a bias towards light skinned black people in the mainstream media. Although it can vary from place to place. Black actors don't have AS much to hurdle through than their female counterparts, in music (especially rap, to an extent hip-hop) and movies. Denzel, Will Smith, and Chiwetel are all typical african-american men in terms of skin tone and happen to be very popular and bankable movie stars. For women it's different, all the examples you posted, Nicki Minaj (absolutely huge) Beyonce has fair features and straight hair, etc. Knowing America's history and large white majority it makes sense why there is a bias towards European features.

Some people call that as another example of 'white privilege' in the U.S, but the truth is that's just the way we've always been as people, same way the Chinese prefer their own people with the most attractive features seen in their various groups, it is so in the U.S.A, or anywhere else in the world.

Black women definitely get more racism. I mean look at this Forum for example. Look at Guys like Wadaad, he has a number of supporters; This even despite admittedly being connected to a terror group, and hacking me extensively. I wonder if any of these people who support him would be doing so if that kind of thing happen to them. I've never done anything to him personally; to the massive extend and hatred he's done to me. It disgust me! He said I followed him but it was only because he had stalked/hacked a number of my Facebook accounts, and got involved in arguments that didn't involve him. Yet he screams with fear when another member said his name in a thread. How does he think I must feel? ;he doesn't thats why he can connect so easily to isis. He's a bully. If I wanted to, i could expose a lot about Wadaad the way he did to me, (through his own hacking of me), but I want him to leave me alone.

I felt like I lived this movie for almost a year, no joke:

I think this is becoming less of the case, but I do agree that 15-20+ years ago a good portion of African American celebrities tended to show more mixture than the average African American.
