He is probably of Pontic Greek origin from Russia or Ukraine, he could be of mixed origin but I doubt it, since he has never mention it. His name is Vladimiros, which indicates his connection to Slavic countries, but it doesn't necessary mean that he has Slavic ancestry because a lot of Pontic Greeks took Russian names there.

Ukrainian, but he'd be a darker one.

Btw, I have met Pontic Greeks with Slavic first names. There's an old Greek couple in my town who are Pontic and their first names are Ivan and Tatiana.
