I was just wondering if phased kits are more precise that individual kits because there are two kits to compare with one another. For example, there are kits for my mom and I and then there is a phased maternal kit. Here are the results for my mom:

Pct. Calc. Option 1

1 German-South 65.91%
2 British 24.69%
3 North-East-European 5.23%
4 West-Asian 3.36%
5 Saami 0.77%
6 Norwegian_V 0.02%
7 Swiss 0.02%
8 CEU 0.00%
9 Romania 0.00%
10 Roma 0.00%

Here are the results for my maternal phased kit:

Pct. Calc. Option 1

1 British 34.42%
2 German-South 26.82%
3 French 16.75%
4 Russian 16.23%
5 Kosovar 5.78%
6 Romania 0.00%
7 Swiss 0.00%
8 Provancestralal 0.00%
9 Montenegrin 0.00%
10 Italian_North 0.00%

All the GEDMatch calculators say that I am at least 10% Russian on the phased kit, but not on my mom's kit. Which one is more accurate?

The phased kit actually fits the paper trail better, except for the Russian and Kosovar.
