Nothing unusual, in Serbia/Kosovo school I learned same thing. Serbs came with Slavs in 5th century, Albanian was small, hidden old tribe of the Balkans.

It's only internet I got exposed to anything differently.

To me none of this matters. The only people of the Balkans who amounted to anything before Serbs were Greeks or Romans. Let Albanians be the native people who left no impression on history, they want it so bad ;)
