We have a thread ("Hungary genocide 1940-1944 against Romanians and Jews") about the Hungarian atrocities on Jews and others in Northern Transylvania. However, if we wanted to be neutral we would have to discuss the Romanian crimes as well.
According to Wikipedia, "Romania murdered in various forms, between 280,000 to 380,000 Jews in Romania and in the war zone of Bessarabia, Bukovina and in the Transnistria Governorate."
Actually, Romania admitted these atrocities only 10 years ago (after the report of the Wiesel Commission). Why were the Romanian governments unwilling to admit these fascist crimes in the past?
