Origins & History

Haplogroup Q is thought To Have Originated in Central Asia or North Asia During shortly after of the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM, 26,000 to 19,000 years ago). Haplogroup Q1a1 is almost entirely found in Han Chinese populations. I think the ancient Chinese might absorbed a Xirong tribe, which eventually became some local aristocratic family during the Zhou dynasty. If I was found to have Q1a1, which is also found amongst some families in southern Fujian province, then the story of some families fleeing south to avoid detection would be confirmed.

I really want to purchase a DNA test to see if there are validities to these claims.

Also where did you get idea Huns were minority among Huns?
