UAE to build mosques in Kosovo

Dubai: Eight endowment centres in the Republic of Kosovo, to supervise the building of mosques across the country, were ordered by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance and the chairman of Al Maktoum Charity Foundation.

Mohammad Obaid Al Gannam, Secretary-General of the Foundation, said that Shaikh Hamdan’s directives came after receiving Shaikh Naeem Ternava, the mufti of Kosovo, during his recent visit to the UAE and the visit made by a delegation from the foundation to Kosovo.

The cost of these endowment centres to be set up in Kosovo will be $1.5 million (Dh5.51 million) and are almost ready to start their activities under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan.

As far as I know those who went to Syria went via Turkey. There was a corridor . I even heard that there was a training camp for military inexperienced in Turkey close to Syria border.

So fucking true. This shit started in Kosovo after the war. They try to teach people different ways of living and how to be social, and even ways to pray, which is shown in the Quran to be wrong. These "religious" pricks are doing nothing but brainwashing people. When most Albanians see the news of some dead Albanian in Syria, who willingly went in the first place, you often see comments such as "All those who go shouldn't ever come back". And to be honest, I support them. They should be worrying about their own people and country. For me, despite the fact that all of my family is Muslim, Islam doesn't have a big effect on my life. And I'd only die for my people and country, not for Islam.

With the democracy after the war and while Kosova was not a state yet we had first arab people appearing here. No one took them seriously until we saw first covered women and men "with beards". Immediately after the war it was International community leading Kosova and I do not think that they cared much who is entering or leaving Kosova.

Now Kosova is a state and has more knowledge about religions so more can be done in this respect.
