Second photo looks no different than the Sicilians you posted from Messina.

First photo could just barely pass as northerners but a bit too Germanic.

They all look Italian, except for the blond guy on suit who looks British.

I agree yes. My perspective is that looking at the photo, I could believe it was a group of Sicilians, which would not be the case if you showed me a group of Portuguese people, a group of Germans, or a group of Brits. Even though the people above would not be the most typical group.

I said Italian, NOT specifically Sicilian.

The second group could pass all the way as far north as Abruzzo, Molise, and Lazio before they'd start to stand out IMO. The first group could pass in Lombardy, Venice, and Piedmont but not much south.

I see a menorah in the second group, are they ashkenazim?
