Ethnically, they're more Italian than many Italian nationals. But yeah, he looks much more Italian than French.

Italian, but I can't say that I can place him to any specific region. A dark northerner more than southern, though.

Corsicans are Italian anyway.

Did any significant amount of ethnic French emigrate to Corsica throughout history, or has the population largely remained homogeneous like Sardinia (Alghero notwithstanding)?

Genetically, Corsicans are identical to other central Italians.

The population is still pretty homogeneous. But they were many people who settled there after French Algeria went down. I have some Corsican friends with hardcore French names.
And now half of them live out of the island, so they marry with people from all over the country.
