I always felt if we include Romania with Balkan, we should include Moldova.
Once northern Albania, now Montenegro.
You mean, once Ottoman Empire and before that, Zeta Principality xD

Plav was part of the Scutari vilayet which was populated by Albanians. An Albania in the ottoman empire I dare say.

Yes, an Albanian zone in the Ottoman Empire. Now it's Albanian zone in Montenegro.
Btw, do you know why it's called 'Plav?'

Plav means 'blue' but in slavic language, we use colors to mean directions. black = north. red = south. white = west. blue = east. Plav was an eastern outpost of the Zeta principality, hence it was called blue.

I'm from Bosnia. My mother's family comes from Croatia (but they moved here long ago), and my father's family comes from Croatia and Montenegro (they also moved here long ago). We've lived in Bosnia for a long time so I can easily say we're all from Bosnia :p

This is here Balkans
land of dreams
between powerful forces
good and evil
There can be any
enemy and brother
every fifty years
war breaks out
This place was created by
warriors and poets
and various gods
This is here Balkans
fragrant flower
totally incomprehensible
for the whole world
And each can be
enemy and brother
every fifty years
war breaks out
