Can someone work out what am I?

Hi, my name's Zoe... I've been told by various family members that our family is Anglo-Saxon... then Celt... then Norman... than German or French! The only thing I know for definite is that the Mother of my Grandfather on my Mother's side of the family, was Norwegian! Can you tell just by looking roughly what someone is?

My hair is a dark(ish) brown, I'm 5'9", stocky (thick) build, pale blue eyes and have really pale skin (cool tone)

I don't think anyone can help you more than what you know. But you look British, I wouldn't place you anywhere much far from Britain, you look western european.

You have a similar face shape and colouring to me :). I'm probably a mix of Celtic, Nordic, Anglo-Saxon and Norman though so that won't help you narrow it down I'm afraid. Possibly just a British mix like me.

Well, I have been told that all my Ancestors as of 1880-approx were either from Germany, France, Norway, Wales... and Scotland! I'm English, born and raised, but here in Liverpool, I stick out like a giant! My Father is convinced that we are largely Germanic on his side... and my Mother's side all have either German or Norwegian names, but she believes that we are Anglo-Saxon... haha... So I'm tempted to go with being some mix of Norse and German.
