I can see the resemblance, but the Greek guy has a more robust physique and a different nose.

No, they are different.

There is a similarity probably because of the eyes and the jaw.

The Spanish one looks like he could be British or French, a western European "Atlantic" look. The Greek one looks more like Alpine-North Pontid. They individually look similar but the Greek one looks more Romanian or something.

Anyway, Fernando Javier Llorente Torres is Navarrese and not Basque, with two Spanish/Castillian surnames, the Greek guy is obviously of Slavo/Slavic- Eastmediterranid stock while the Spaniard is Celtoiberian Aka Western stock, the only similarity is the pigmentation and both are European.

The facial features are not very similar but they have the same pigmention, hair coloring, height and they play in the same position  (the Iberian is far better of course).

I'm torn as to whether the Greek guy has an East Nordid component or a North Pontid one, but either way he has a Slavic vibe.

I dissagre

He would be atypical even for Bulgaria

I doubt it. He definitely isn't mostly Mediterranean.

Come on, its an apricity rule .
Light Greek = Slav

Well what's funny is he has an Anatolian Greek surname, but I definitely think he has an Eastern European vibe as he neither looks Turkish nor does he pass as any kind of southern Italian.

So when someone doesn't look Turkish or southern Italian is a Slav?

Phenotypes don't work with the power of deduction.

No, but he actually looks Slavic to my eyes. If you had posted him and not said he was Greek, I'd have put him in Ukraine.

No, Llorente looks Spanish, the other doesn't, so they aren't similar

I can understand when a Spaniard says so because he is unfamiliar with Greeks and Slavs so he judges people in a Western/Eastern base.

He uses the power of deduction.

But when someone associates with Slavic people everyday he knows very well he doesn't look like one.

My perspective is if you're Greek and you don't pass in Italy nor in Turkey to me, the look is one I'd probably call Slavic. I am comparing to ethnicities I am more familiar with, as well.

It's my opinion. Granted I also think some Cretans and Peloponnesians look western so there is that, so it's not like I think ALL light Greeks look Slavic. But to my eyes this one does. Sorry if you don't like it.

HOW? It sounds quite right. Look at DNA tests. The greeks who lack that slavic element (so, Islanders) look S Italian... The ones who have that element actually look different. THIS is that look. You greeks need to face the truth, you have slav blood.

Islanders dont have Indo-European blood either.

There are also mixes of different types that produce distinct looks. like this guy.

The day i will get offended over if some Greeks look Slavic or not is the day where i'll commit suicide.

You are so foolish. Look at the baltic and E euro percentage in greeks. THIS is the defining difference and explains this different look. Why do you guys doubt this?

So i'm denying any Slavic influence because i think this guy looks Greek and not Slav.

And i'm also the foolish one.

Anyway, to me, Slavic looking Greek is Johnny Kalimeris
Smaller eyes, squarish head,etc...

It's true greeks have slav blood

north greeks are slavs who say kurwa instead of malaka

From now on I'll just say "East Euro" because that can account for the possibility that such types are Indo-European and have been in Greece since forever. But this doesn't explain why people like this don't exist in southern Italy, western Turkey, or the islands.

People on here think I am harassing the Greeks with the whole Slavic thing. I'm not. If I had commented and said what I thought and no one argued back, it'd have been one comment and no discussion. It's the Greek users here who go up in arms when someone says any one of them can pass as Slavic, Turkish, etc. so it's not my fault if I am not going to let myself be ridiculed over it.

they look the similar. Almost the same. The second looks alittle older maybe and is more masculine but they are nearly the same.
