I'm leaving for Turkey and Greece tomorrow! I will be in Istanbul, Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, and Ios. What are the must sees? Have you been?

Have you even been to Greek islands? How you know? Every complex of Greek islands are tottaly different from others.

paksaltopam, I hope you enjoy your trip. Athens is a big crowded city, but you can enjoy sightseeing.
Mykonos is the cosmopolitan choice, but its also very beautiful if you chose wisely.
Santorini, nothing can be said more than its not already known.....
Ios is a quiter choice, so probably you will enjoy your baths more over there :thumb001:

Ortaköy, prince islands(büyükada),çengelköy(still have fascinating ottoman spirit) and when you go to çengelköy go to(çinaralti kahve) near the sea. Taksim (drink raki at nevizade), cihangir. Yerebatan sarnici.

Edit: i m not living in istanbul so istanbulian posters could give much tips about your trip. You are flying with turkish airlines right? Otherwise i will delete my post, heheheh.

In all seriousness, no.

And don't lump Greece and Turkey together Mr Wog. Turkey is a middle eastern country, any 'similarities' with Greece are superficial. I once happened to see a group of German Turks passing via Greece to Turkey and they all looked like ciganos. I find it hard to believe these people were German Turks.
