Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (German: Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha), or Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, was the Ernestine duchy from the House of Wettin, with the territories in the present States of Bavaria and Thuringia of Germany. It lasted from 1826 to 1918.

The name Saxe-Coburg-Gotha also refers to the family of the ruling House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, which played many varied roles in the dynastic and political history of Europe in the 19th and 20th Centuries. At one time, in the beginning of the 20th Century, before the First World War, it was the family name of the sovereigns of the United Kingdom, Belgium, Portugal, Bulgaria, and Saxe Coburg and Gotha. Today branches of the family currently reign in Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the other Commonwealth realms. The former Tsar of Bulgaria, Simeon II, kept his surname as the Prime Minister of Bulgaria from 2001 to 2005.

Many people think Prince Albert's real father was Baron Von Mayern who was Jewish but I can't find information on the actual Saxe-Coberg Gotha's being part-Jewish

Well... The Grosvenors are a little bit Ethiopian, and such families forge and were forging many transnational marriages.

Given that the Ashkenazim could be partly, what was it, Goths, this could influence our perception, also. They do not appear to be terribly ethnic-British, although that will soon be changing, I suspect.

I think some of the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha family do.
But i think if they do have some Ashkenazi ancestry, it could still be quite remote. Since they married their cousins and within other related royal family, the gene pool itself would be quite small compared with other people, so some shared features should become overemphasized in later generations as well.

I think they all have some indian or arabic or mongol influence, which can lead to that same oriental (in the old meaning) look. No wonder they are hellbent on muslimizing their subjects.
