This guy is a Pamirid, without any Turanid character. For example a less Mongolized Hungarian Pamirid sample:

What is a nonsense, since the average Turanid is light skinned than the average European. But yes, you recognized the Southern European/Near Eastern skin colors and this is true. He is a Pamirid and the Pamirid is a Taurid+very few Turanid form, but lot of Pamirid Mongolized later, than the ancestors of this guy. Hovewer, this color is his Europid heritage.

This man is clearly a Turano-Pamirian (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turanid_race#Anthropological_subdivision_and_chara cteristics), his face is slightly higher than the Turanoid average. Anyhow, his look is typical for Turkic inhabited areas of the Turanid stock.

He resembles this Uyghur/Kyrgyz man (https://www.flickr.com/photos/florencecanal/4043096417) from Kashi, East Turkestan:

Turano-pamirid, with this basic Taurid origin character? Look at his ears, his high face and small head! Here is a robust Turano-Pamirid:

Ive been to Kashgar. This is a typical look for the region. Just FYI, Uighurs from Southern Xinjiang are primarily Caucasoid looking with a minority of Mongoloid admixture, while the Uighurs from Northern Xinjiang are primarily Mongoloid looking with a minority of noticeable Caucasoid admixture.

One of the most interesting places I've ever been.

Seriously I can't even detect any similarities between those two faces from the right and the middle.

What is the situation in the Uyghur areas btw? Everything ok? Are there any outbreaks of violence? Of course I hope not so.

Maybe this is the problem, since these two head and face is almost perfectly similar, except the strong epicanthus of the Uyghur man.

When I went, it was a while ago. It was relatively stable, but obviously there are ethnic tensions. But the situation is much more complex than what it looks like from the outside. Very interesting culture and place though.

When I went to some of the more remote areas, I was wearing a Hui Muslim cap (to pass as a Hui Chinese Muslim since they look like Han Chinese, obviously I dont think I can pass for a Uighur). But it wasn't due to any real danger, but just not wanting to get hustled by Uighur vendors if they think I'm foreign, I thought if they thought I was a Hui Muslim from Gansu province, they probably wouldn't try so hard to sell to me, and I was right honestly.
