Bezio (older Bisaillion).

First is Italian/French, second is markedly French. Trying to figure out a bit more.

Thanks for all the help!

It is Italian, but of unknown origin, apparently it is best guessed has coming from a personal name..

Very rare surname, an error of trascription of the surname Boezio.

If the original form of Bezio is indeed Boezio, then it comes from the Latin name Boethius (as in, the philosopher Boethius (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boethius)), which in turn derives from Greek boethos "helper, defender".

For sure, and that's indicate that the family is in the italian peninsula since many, many, many years...
