No, she just used henna in the second pic. In our tradition the girl puts henna on hair before the wedding. Btw us Syrian Desert Arabs are divided by an artificial border which we don't recognize. We live in Syria and Iraq but we are one people.

The guy to me is way too dark to be east med, or we need to divide this category from the european east med.

Those rugs are often found in all Bedouin homes, they are a signature of our culture, and sometimes they depict the history and tradition of our tribes in artistic way. Thus when you go to the Syrian Desert and Jordan you will not find this strange. We also sell it to tourist, to make some extra cash.
