I have touched on this in another thread. With the Scottish referendum later this year, if successful, would this be a launch pad to encourage other regional areas in Europe that wish for independence or unification with their preferred territory. Ones I am thinking of is the South Tyrol, Catalonia in Spain, Aland islands off the Finnish coast and maybe the Faroe islands and the the division of Belgium. If there are other regional areas in a similar situation.
