Securitate was the secret political police during the Communist era in Romania. Described as "one of the most brutal secret police forces in the World". Maybe this is somewhat exaggerated. But it was certainly brutal. According to the Romanians I“ve met, saying that f. ex the stasi, KGB would be "far behind" the securitate concerning brutality.

However, did the securitate have any specific emblem or logo? I“ve never seen one.

Lol are they experts on KGB and Stasi history? How do they know Securitate was worst?

I'm not well informed about these institutions to compare them. I was thinking the soviet kgb with it's reputation has to be worse or just as bad at least.

Maybe KGB and securitate are (were) equally worse, and stasi somewhat less.
