The camera i have owned for 2 years is a Panosonic DMC-FZ18 it has everything i want in a camera, it is easy to use and has a very good user friendly software, the reason i purchased this camera was of course the price, the 18X zoom was breath taking compared to similar priced cameras.
The camera can take a 16GB SD card

It was pretty good (and expensive) 4-5 years ago when I bought it, but after trying my ex-girlfriend's camera (http://www.kenrockwell.com/canon/images/30d/30d.jpg), I think it's a piece of rubbish...

I bought it a year ago and got it very cheaply, because I had the right connections. I have a 16GB SD card in it.
I'm quite pleased with my camera.
Thatīs mine what i own since 1,5 years.

Here is Mrs Germanicus's Fuji S1500, she has owned it for nearly 1 year, she chose it because it is smaller and lighter than most cameras of this type.
It has a 12x zoom it takes an 8GB SD card and can take pictures with 10 milllion pixels

It can't focus at all, so it's only suitable for taking pictures at drunk people from a distance. :>
For proof it can't focus, check out my eye pictures in the 'eye colour'-thread.

I have a Nikon D40 DSLR. In fact, it was the camera that took my current avatar. ;)

I own (and use!) a Kodak DC290 for intentional photography, and just use my iPhone 3G for quick point-and-shoot operation. The DC290 is quite capable but lacking in resolution vs new cameras.

The Fuji F70 EXR is going to be my next camera purchase, as I want something pocket sized but not too deficient vs a DSLR. Can't wait to play with it :D
